Tasty tea at Camellia Rd Tea Bar near Convoy Street! Such natural and refreshing flavors, unique compared to the typical boba menu. We enjoyed the chrysanthemum and Scottish caramel tea with honey boba and the mixed berry roobios. Friendly and quick service. Board games available. Great place to work on your laptop or hang out with friends. Dog friendly patio. Recommend!

Wow surprisingly really delicious, more tea forward milk tea. I ordered the Camellia Black Tea with oat milk and honey boba and it was absolutely delicious! I've been here twice already, and it really hit the spot both times. I like how customizable everything is You can tell the staff works hard because it's the same person who takes your order and makes your drink. Of course, the drinks are on the pricier side, and having to pay an extra dollar for oat milk, but it is what it is. At least you can customize the milk! It's a great location given how it's right next to Daiso and the freeway. I'd say this is one of my favorite places to get boba now because of the quality and how tea-forward the drinks are, which is what I prefer personally. Highly recommend!

I’ve been coming here since like 2022 and I’ve always had great boba tea from here- the tea itself is high quality. I’ve always gotten my drink with oat milk and they’ve always gotten it right— but today I think I got my drink with regular milk. :( There was only one person working when there’s usually at least two, so maybe that’s why there was a mistake with my drink. I really like this place but it sucks to pay $8 for a drink and then have to dump half of it bc your body can’t digest it…

A super lowkey boba place. We swing by after kbbq, and tbh it’s probably the best boba I’ve ever have. I’m not big fan of milk tea and boba ironically, they sell v high quality tea with real fruit puree and the best is the chrysanthemum jelly. I ended up coming two days in a row and we might go again tmr

My friends and I drink a LOT of milk tea – we always go back to Camellia Rd. The quality of the tea and boba is unrivaled – both in San Diego and the Bay (where I live now). I’ll always try their seasonal flavor, and my go-to order is usually the camellia blend or matcha milk tea. Staff are always so nice, and the shop is really fun to sit in with the quirky decor and artwork. Nice to have outdoor tables, too. Always look forward to my next SD trip so I can carve out time to make a pit stop (or two or three) at Camellia.
